And to offer my opinion on the common debate: Smantha was far more powerful than Jeannie.

I could not agree with any statement more.  I always thought it would be cool to have Jeannie around, but I wanted to BE Samantha Stevens.  Partly because of her powers, but partly because who WOULDN'T want Endora to be their mother?  Seriously?

Seriously.

There is one thing you never put in a trap, if you're smart - if you value your continued existence - if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow there is one thing you never EVER put in a trap.  Me.

Listen, I don't know what sort of kids you've been flying around with in outer space, but you're not telling me to shut up!

As long as I don't bleed or cry, I'll do it!

Realizing that I'm a little late in chiming in on this (I've been busy this week), here are the cartoons that I can recall watching as a kid (and maybe a bit beyond):

Spider-Man (the original 60s version: "Spider-Man, Spider-Man/Does whatever a spider can....")
Star Trek
Space Ghost
Herculoids
Galaxy Trio
Super Friends
Batman (both the 1960s and 1970s versions)
Spider-Man and His Amazing Spider-Friends (or whatever the heck it was called; the one with Firestar and Iceman)
Battle of the Planets
Star Blazers (this one was on in the mornings, and I usually missed about half of each episode in order to get to school on time)
Robotech
Flash Gordon (the late 1970s version)
Defenders of the Earth (Flash Gordon teams up with the Phantom and Mandrake the Magician)
Phantom 2040

O.K., that's enough for now.

My skills are as varied as they are impractical.

I loved those Spider-Man and Batman cartoons. I'm still disappointed that we never got to see Joel Schumacher's take on Bat-Mite.
