Why Advertise Here?
Although Backstage Utah is a new site, we are taking over for PlayersAnonymous.org (with that domain name now pointing to this site). Players Anonymous saw an average of over 1000 visitors per month, with 2/3rds of those visitors as active, reoccurring members. And most of these visitors had one thing in common, an interest in local theatre and entertainment. A large percentage of any theater's audience is made up of people who also participate in theater, which is Backstage Utah's main demographic. You will get audience members if you advertise here.
Can I Still Post My Show Announcement On the Message Boards?
Yes, that's still free (you don't even have to register to do it), and will also display as a text link on the Now Playing page. The same goes for auditions. However, that will be a text link listed with all the other text links for all the other shows/auditions that have also posted. But a graphic ad of your show's poster or logo, that displays on the right of every page as well as above the text links, will likely have more people click it.
Production Ads - Advertise Your Latest Show!
Theatre Companies may purchase advertising that will display to the right of every page on the site. This advertising is purchased and posted on a per-production basis. The ad acts as a link to your website or online information page.
Rates
The advertising rate to have your ad appear in the bar at the right, as well as on the Now Playing page, is $25/production. Your ad will run for the length of your ticket sales.
To have your playbill displayed only on the Now Playing Page is $10. As above, your ad will run for the length of your ticket sales.
Side Bar Ad Rates For Non-Productions
Advertising businesses or services in the side bar is billed on a monthly basis. The rate is $15/month. The image will link directly to your website or a designated landing page.
Resources Page Listings
For those looking for long-term advertising, we offer listings on our Resources page. The Resources page is divided into 4 categories: Local Theatre Companies, Headshot Photographers, Vocal and Acting Coaches, and Additional Resources. Your ad or link would be listed alphabetically (like in the yellow pages) and can include your phone number, address, etc.

The fees above are one-time fees. The webmaster will conduct a yearly check to see if the link is still pointing to a valid domain. If it's not, it will be delected and the person who owned that link will have to pay again to have that link restored.
Additional Rates
All rates above are based on you providing the graphic/artwork for the advertising. However, Backstage Utah is owned and operated by a professional Digital Artist and Web Designer, and he can create your ad for you if you need it.
His rates for Backstage Utah customers are:

- "Block" Ads - $75
- Web "Landing" Pages - $150
